Wei-Li Zhao, MD, PhD, Professor of Hematology, Director of Shanghai Institute of Hematology, Vice President of Shanghai Ruijin Hospital. She is Vice Chair of CSH, Chair of the Lymphocyte Disease Group, Vice Chair of the Lymphoma Committee of CSCO, and Experimental Hematology Committee of CAP. She devotes herself to clinical research on lymphoid malignancies, having published over 110 articles in leading hematology journals such as NEJM, JAMA, CANCER CELL, and BLOOD. Her findings were listed among China’s Top 10 Hematology Advances in 2020, 2023, and 2025. She has won the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the Innovation Team Award, and the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. Her recent honors include the French National Academy of Medicine "Charpak-Dubousset Prize", the Wu Jieping Medical Innovation Award, and the Tan Jiazhen Life Science Award.
