Jiong Wu, MD, PhD, is President of the Leadership Committee, Chief Physician, and Doctoral Advisor at Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center. He is also the first President and Executive Director, Committee of the Integrative Breast Cancer Society, China Anti-Cancer Association (CACA); former President, Breast Cancer Society of CACA; President, Breast Group, Chinese Society of Oncology, Chinese Medical Association; Vice President, Committee of Breast Surgeons, Chinese Medical Doctor Association (CMDA), and Vice President, Committee of Oncology, CMDA.
His research interest is gene signatures in breast cancer prognosis and prediction. Professor Wu focuses on breast cancer conservative surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and onco-plastic surgery involving immediate breast reconstruction and partial breast reconstruction. He has received research funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Shanghai Health Bureau et al, with more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed international or Chinese core journals. He has been an invited speaker at many national meetings and expert panels on breast cancer management.
